Almond Sugar Cookie Cut Out Recipe

These almond sugar cookies are super soft, sweet, and have a nice almond flavor.

STEP 1: In a medium bowl, combine flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt, Whisk well and set aside.

STEP 2: With an electric mixer, beat he softened butter and granulated sugar.

STEP 3: Add the egg and almond extract to the butter mixture. Continue beating at a medium speed until the egg is fully incorporated,

STEP 4:  Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gradually, beating on low between each addition.

STEP 5:  Wrap the cookie dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.

STEP 6:  Roll out the dough to about 1/4" thickness.

STEP 7:  Cut out your shapes and place at least one inch apart on lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool and decorate!
